Abstract
Key elements for this work are the effects provoked by the “Arabic Lacería”; composition element that not only served to see without being seen but also served as artefact for the diffusion of incident solar radiation. That will be the effect produced by our multilayered façade skin, thought as a flexible cloth adapting itself to the fundamental body of the building. As in Muslim architecture, the diverse sequence of layers gives depth to the façade projecting shadows the one over the other and at the same time permits to have a ventilated element of transition between the inside and outside. The abstraction of this Andalusian concept has been taken to its ultimate consequences, trying to give to the building that landmark character inherently associated with its use.
